The ICS Incubator is structured to further research, development, productization and rapid commercialization of promising technologies that address significant problems in the space. The Incubator is structured to work with both innovations developed at UTSA, as well as to work with entrepreneurs who could benefit from the expertise and resources of researchers at UTSA.
What does the Incubator provide:
- Access to entrepreneurial researchers with a proven ability to innovate, and bring products to market.
- Access to seed capital in the form of R&D resources, provided in the form of "ICS dollars" which can be spent at the Institute to further promising business ideas.
- Access to experience in the life cycle of start ups; from 'ideas' to 'exits', and everything in between.
We are actively seeking ideas from researchers and entrepreneurs. Please carefully read our policies and if you believe there is a match please submit a non confidential overview of your business plan in the format in the Appendix of the policy statement to paula.castillo@utsa.edu.
